MEXICAN EXPERIMENTAL CONFLUENCES
Join us for an evening of live improvisation between Mexico City and London, headlined by Piña para la Niña. The acclaimed Mexican duo — Adriana Camacho (double bass, voice, looper) and Eli Piña (saxophone) — present their new album live, with visuals by Pierre Bouvier Patron, continuing a dialogue between two generations of Mexico City's free jazz and free improvisation scene that began in 2021. The evening opens with a special collaboration between Mexican artist Jesu Piceno, Blanca Regina and Audrey Riley, drawing on inspirations including Chavela Vargas, Jaime Sabines and Jorge Reyes, with visuals by Ester Ricci.
